just had to. . .

What can I say to a picture like this? Keaton and I went out around noon--which I don't do enough the dreaded mid-day lighting. We got to take advantage of a beautiful day, before my afternoon shoot. (more of this adorable child on our family blog http://www.littlefieldhappenings.blogspot.com/)

separation of family and work. . .

not that photography ever really feels like WORK. . . but I will not be posting so much family stuff on this blog anymore.
We have a new family blog, for anyone that actually visits wanting family updates, you can get the gritty details of our life at our family blog. Still under contruction. But we'll get it up and running. Jason will be required to post frequently too, so you'll get a dose of his humor. LUCKY YOU!!!

Sorry Christine. . .

I hope you don't mind that people know that you kiss your husband. . . The last ones I'll post from this shoot. Wish we lived closer! It was so much fun to photograph your little family!

Sunday, April 13

It's official. . .

I am now officially living in my last year before I turn 30.
My birthday was amazing. My husband and son spoil me with love on my birthdays. This year was no different.
They gave me my gift the night before, because they were both so excited for me to have it.
Jason surprised me at work with a rose, and the most tender card. I think every birthday since we dated he has had me in tears. Good tears. He always knows exactly what to say to make me feel like I'm the most important person to him.

Then. . . He said he'd take me to dinner, anywhere I wanted. I threw out Jaker's because it's my favorite restaurant, but it's so expensive. . . I changed my mind and said oh anywhere. He kept telling me we should go late to avoid a wait. So, at 7p.m. Keaton and I were starving, so we started bugging Jason. He was "loading stuff onto his zune" and kept saying no, can't leave yet, I've got to do this first. I was giving him such a hard time, I feel bad for it now. I make that man work so hard to surprise me!!! When we finally left the house to head to Idaho Falls, it was after 7p.m. and I was so hungry I was getting a headache. He asked me again where I wanted to go to dinner, I said Texas Roadhouse. he tried to argue, but drove there anyway, when we got there and saw the mass of people waiting outside to be seated, I told him I was too hungry and to go somewhere else.
He said Chillis (I'm not going to pretend like I wasn't disappointed at that suggestion!) either way the other good restaurants were all the way across town. He suggested Outback, at this point I didn't care. We headed to Outback, but instead of going to outback he pulled into Jaker's. That in itself was sweet enough. . . but when we walked in and saw our friends, I immediately FELT HORRIBLE for giving him so much grief! Then two minutes later, more friends walked in. My husband has done it again. He managed to make my birthday fantastic, making me feel incredibly loved. I'm lucky to have him. And I LOVED MY BIRTHDAY! even though I'm almost 30! Thanks to all my friends and family that called or e-mailed and wished me happy birthday. You're the BEST!!!

Sneeky Peek. . .

So, while I was in Washington I took family pictures of Christine and her adorable family. I couldn't help but play with a few. I sat down at my computer, and before I knew it, I was 11 pictures into it. so. . . I am walking away for the night and spending some much needed time with my husband. But a peek, as promised. None with the kids just yet. . .

I'm back. . .

I am back from my little vacation, and bombarded with quarterly reports and projects at work. I had an amazing time with my girlfriend. It's great to have a friend that even after 6 years of not seeing each other, we can still have a great time laughing, shopping and spending time together.
Life is good. I will post pictures soon. . .
