A love like this...

Meet Meredith and Chris. My INCREDIBLY fun, amazingly adorable, engagement session I recently shot. They weren't going to let a little rain get in the way of their photo session. I loved their dedication! Yet another shoot that I find myself sitting with a big cheesy grin while I edit. (slightly embarrassing) Here's a little peek at what's to come. . .

I may get in trouble for only posting ONE photo, but this one I love. Miss A was quite the treat to photograph. At one point when I was photographing the younger people [because they are so, NOT kids anymore] I turned around and this one was already standing ready to go, perfectly in position, and she didn't even mean to be. She's just a natural. To be fair, they ALL made my job incredibly easy and entertaining that day. I know, I know I gush...

We did it again....

This family doesn't take a bad picture. . . individually. . . collectively. . . they're amazing. Here's the first peek. There will be MANY to come. I had to edit at least one as soon as I stepped foot in the door. Now I'm off to spend a little family time. YOU GUYS ROCK MY WORLD!!!

beautiful beasts

In absolute heaven!!! I found two new gorgeous "props" today. I will be using them on a very special shoot that I've been looking forward to for way too long now. Since I will be revisiting these props often (as often as clients will allow) I think they need names. I'm lacking creativity in that department though. I think the pink bus needs something very dainty. The other van/bus/contraption... I have no clue.
I would love to know the story behind these. You know something so beaten and tattered has got to have some great stories.

Crew baby

Just happened to have my camera on me this weekend while enjoying some time outside with friends. And outside time turned into bath time. . . which inevitably turns into naked babies. . .

yep...

eventhough you haven't seen the regular every-other-post photos of Keaton, he's still: 1. very photographable 2. losing teeth like it's his job 3. outgrowing any enthusiasm for having his photo taken 4. one thing that makes me INCREDIBLY happy, no matter how stressed I get. :) 5. got some of the most amazing brown eyes (inherited from his father) I think I've ever loved.

who doesn't love a tender baby photo...
I know nobody will give me a hard time for posting more photos of the cute baby, because EVERYONE loves babies.

[throwback]

following the trend of everything "throwback", I have been in love with the antique look of photos. I purposefully drain the color and add antique tones to most of the photos I edit. Maybe it's just a phase. . . but for now, all I know is I like it. (yes I edit with my regular bright, cheery super saturated colors too) But for these pictures antique is the look I love.

This is little B. I've been lucky enough to photograph her on several occasions. I don't think I'll ever fall out of love with her eyes. And I don't think I'll ever get tired of photographing her.

My friends spoil me. The provide me with such adorable subjects to photograph. They are patient while I try 'quirky' things with their babies and they let me get more than my fair share of cuddle time in.
